Our Story Wikipedia defines Discada as Spanish for cooking in a plow disc or agricultural disc. We define it as the Texas version of the outdoor wok. Proprietors Jim Bob Hobbs and Ryan Collins have been cooking in a Discada dating all the way back to their college days at Texas Tech. Jim Bob hand made dozens of disc grills for friends and family and within a matter of years there were more requests than one man could handle. Everyone was truly enjoying their disc grills! With the ever increasing popularilty of Jim Bob's custom design, we started DiscGrill.com in August, 2010.
